Meet Annie

I am committed to my community, and I want to continue to drive positive change in Holly Springs.

My family and I moved to Holly Springs in 2017. Since that time, I have been actively involved with a number of non-profit organizations. From these experiences, I have seen firsthand the real challenges many of us face, from access to resources to the effects of rapid growth. These experiences inspired me to make a bigger difference in my community, which led me to run for Town Council in 2023.

For the past two years, I have been proud to represent you on Holly Springs Town Council. While a single member of council cannot speak for council, I have advocated for greater transparency and accessibility to the community. I have consistently voted in favor of affordable housing and property rights. I have been the sole dissenter at times, voting against developments that would overburden our community. I have committed my time to represent our community and to be available and accessible to Holly Springs.

Professionally, I am an electrical engineer. That means I bring a thoughtful and analytical mind to problem solving. As a Town Council member I dive into the details to make sure our ordinances and development plans are meticulous and thoughtful. I am patient and dispassionate when a faced with an issue. Listening, researching and evaluating solutions from multiple points of view is a critical methodology as we navigate the important decisions that will shape the future of Holly Springs.

During my time on Town Council, we have achieved some notable advances including:

  • Geographical policing initiative

  • Micro-transit proposal and budgeting for 2026

  • Planning and investing in responsible water and wastewater systems

  • Progressing Eagles Landing Park

  • Planning for trail connections to neighboring municipalities

My Town Council Committee assignments:

  • Legislative Action Committee

  • Nonprofit Grants Committee

  • Tree Advisory Committee

  • Historical Marker Committee
