Meet Annie

I am committed to my community, and I want to continue to drive positive change in Holly Springs.

My family and I moved to Holly Springs in 2017. Since that time, I have been actively involved with a number of non-profit organizations. From these experiences, I have seen firsthand the real challenges many of us face, from access to resources to the effects of rapid growth. These experiences inspired me to make a bigger difference in my community, which led me to run for Town Council in 2023.

For the past two years, I have been honored to serve on Holly Springs Town Council, championing transparency, accessibility, and sustainable growth. I’ve pushed for easier public engagement and created opportunities to connect with our community. I have consistently voted in favor of affordable housing and property rights. I have a vision of where and how we are growing that is backed by my voting record. We need leaders in Holly Springs like me who think big, but act responsibly in moving us forward without putting an undue burden on our neighbors.

As a career-long electrical engineer, I dive into the details on Town Council to make sure our ordinances and development plans are thoughtful and consistent. I listen, research and evaluate solutions from multiple points of view as I navigate the important decisions that shape the future of Holly Springs.

I see the big picture and focus on the details because real change happens when vision meets execution.

During my time on Town Council, we have achieved some notable advances including:

  • Geographical policing initiative

  • Micro-transit coming in 2026

  • Planning and investing in responsible water and wastewater systems

  • Progressing Eagles Landing Park

  • Planning for trail connections to neighboring municipalities

  • Sip and Stroll

My Town Council Committee assignments:

  • Legislative Action Committee

  • Nonprofit Grants Committee

  • Tree Advisory Committee

  • Historical Marker Committee
